I have an angel with a heart of gold.
With a lot of love to pass on I have been told
I feel his sweet tender touch along the path I took today
He touched me with his heart, his mind and wiped my tears away
The heart of my angel is very special you see
Because he has been there for just me
I can call on him anytime and he will grant me my wish
The tears in my eyes flow so gracefully and
the touch of his hand wipes them gently away.
The heart of my angel is so gentle and kind
The warmth that he gives me casts
off the darkness and loneliness I feel
That’s way the heart of my angel is so special to me
I hide under his angel wings for safety and he
shelters me for all harm.
He’s teaching me to stand-alone and to be strong.
I know the heart of my angel is here for me for only a time
Then he will leave me when I am strong.
I thank God for sending me this special Angel friend
Who has a heart and is a kind and gentle soul.
