God, much too often
We seek You in prayer
Because we are wallowing
In our own self-despair
We make every word
A need.. in prayer
We pray for ourselves
and seldom for others,
We're concerned with our problems
And not with our brothers
We forget, Lord,
that the time we pray
Is not for self-seeking
But to place in Your care
All the lost souls
Unloved and unknown
And to keep praying for them
Until they're your own
For it's never enough
To seek God in prayer
With no thought of others
Who are lost in despair
So teach us, dear Lord,
The Power of Prayer
Is made stronger by placing
Them in Your Care!

I woke up this morning and said “Good Morning Lord”
I thank you for this beautiful day.
I thank you for the renewed strength you have given me.
I thank you for the peace in my heart.
I thank you for my friends who have stayed by my side.
But most of all I thank you for Loving Me.
When I was angry
When I was hurting
When I was crying
When I was sad
When I didn’t feel like Praying
You were always with me carrying me through… giving me
Strength to go on.
I thank you Lord today for letting me be “Just Me”.
I woke up this morning with my eyes open to a different Light
I see things differently, I can’t explain it but I feel different in my Heart
And in my Spirit.
It’s like I woke up out of a long sleep or a dream.
So I say “Good Morning Lord,” I Love You and I Thank You
For Letting me be “Just Me”.
